Abstract Rhizogenic, callus, and suspension cultures in vitro were obtained for Digitalis lanata their growth, cytophysiological biochemical characteristics investigated. The characterized by good growth (growth indexes I the range of 5–13). Suspension cell culture had a specific rate μ within 0.2–0.3 days –1 it was two-phase curve retardation during exponential phase). In cultures, study qualitative quantitative composition secondary metabolites UPLC-ESI-MS HPLC-ESI-MS showed absence cardiac glycosides. At same time, phenylethanoids steroidal glycosides furostanol type found all studied cultures. total content callus approximately 0.5% dry biomass. Based on results mass spectrometry, ten phenylethanoid structures, including digiciliside A, B, maxoside, purpureaside E, methyl derivatives isomers, also seven with aglycones tigogenin gitogenin identified. It has been shown that depends degree differentiation: prevalent rhizogenic consisting mainly differentiated cells, while diversity significantly increases dedifferentiated cells. confirm hypothesis put forward our previous works about specificity metabolism its high intensity plant
